Hilmar's Famous "UDDER RUN" June 12, 2010 at 8 a.m.

The Udder Run is one of the area’s most unique ‘fun run’ events. Our 5 mile run is a loop course where runners will experience Jersey cows up close and personal as they run past dairies. Our 2 mile run is an out and back rural course. Both races start together at Hilmar Middle School and run through a Holstein dairy within the first half mile.
The Udder Run is held in association with the Merced Running Club and benefits the Hilmar High School and Hilmar Middle School track teams.
Upon finishing their events, entrants feast on a post race spread that includes plenty of Hilmar Cheese, bagels, yogurt, chocolate milk, fruit, cookies and more. During our awards ceremony, Hilmar Cheese baskets will be presented to the overall and masters male and female winners of each race. Hilmar Cheese Coupons will be given to all first place division winners. Medals will be awarded 1st – 3rd in 50 divisions!
All entrants receive one free entry into our raffle which is immediately following the awards ceremony. Once again, Cloth & Quilts of Turlock is donating a beautiful quilt and there will be a number of gift cards and gift baskets.
Kids 8 and under can participate in free fun runs immediately following the 5 mile run. All children will receive medals as they cross the finish line.
